Good Things Come In Three’s

GENERIC-TEMPLATEIf anything, we would classify ourselves as makeup junkies rather than skincare. Having said that here are a couple of skincare (well almost) products which cost an arm and a leg, but as just as rewarding.

a. Sunday Riley “Good Genes”

b. Perricone MD “No Foundation Foundation”

c. Eve Lom “Cleanser”

a. Sunday Riley‘s “Good Genes” has been raved about as a miracle corrective product which as the description says improves radiance, texture and complexion. It’s citrusy scent is fresh and cleansing, and can be used daily as a serum for a brightened and very alive complexion. Likewise, it can be applied more generously and used instead as a face mask to be left on for 10-30 minutes.

A lovely lady at Mecca Cosmetica advised us  that the product is best when used five days in a row for an intense treatment, then applied every so often. Having only recently starting using this product, results and a definite improvement in overall complexion have been seen from day one. Go on, give it a try.

b. Perricone MD‘s “No Foundation Foundation” isn’t exactly skincare, but is the most nourishing and gorgeous looking tinted moisturiser meets tinted BB cream like product we have come across.

Although it’s one shade is perfect for us, the darkness of the product does mean that it is definitely not suited to fair skin tones. In terms of courage it’s quite natural and doesn’t offer much, although does make for a very radiant complexion.

c. Eve Lom‘s “Cleanser” is undoubtedly quite a luxurious product, coming with rectangular muslin cloths and all. As an balm cleanser, it also contains exfoliating particles, and certainly gives the face a decent clean. When applied and massaged all over the face, then removed with a muslin cloth soaked in warm water, it does feel like a mini facial.

It’s filled with chamomile and is pretty much a cleanser, toner and exfoliator in one. We were also really impressed with the way which it removed every ounce of makeup off our faces so easily. Definitely a great cleanser.

with love, Natalie.
